The Champ President has taken tax payers money once again and it putting it into his own pockets, this time under the guise of Guyana Times that he owns with his good friend and crony Bobby, the doctor Ramroop.
Nothing else could explain the sudden injection of cash into this almost dying media entity. A newspaper whose circulation is not even matched with the Guyana Chronicle!

Great investment for Guyanese Taxpayers, Part II
We continue our analysis of the great investments that Guyanese taxpayers are proud to make. In the last installment we showed how each taxpayer is investing in the person and assets of the President.
In this second part, we will show how our taxpayers invest in the person and assets of the opposition leader.
We hope that at the right time, we can claim fair share of returns from these persons and their assets.
Unlike the previous paper, this bill must be on the conscience of the Opposition Leader since it is yet to leap off the Order Paper into the debate.
Leader of the Opposition (Benefits and other Facilities) Bill
(WHAT ELSE TAX PAYERS COULD BE PAYING):
1. Rent free, furnished office accommodation
2. Medical attention including medical treatment and reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by him for himself and dependent members of his family
3. Full time security at his home
4. Services of a secretary, executive security, chauffeur, gardener and domestic help
5. Vacation allowance applicable to that of the government minster (usually is 2 first class tickets)

Jagdeo's trippps
“We don’t have any obligation to announce every time the president leaves the country,” said President Bharrat Jagdeo’s Press Liaison Officer, Kwame Mc Coy
Ok kwamy, we cannot insist. We won't ask.
But, as a taxpayer, I am paying for this chap's trippps all the time. His travels are not being funded by the IMF, Worldbank, IDB or whatever - they are funded by ME and other hardworking people in Guyana like me!
So, as a taxpayer, can I ask the Auditor General or Ashni Singh - or Chris Ram - please tell us how much Jagdeo's trippps cost us?

Are Guyanese so nice?
A few years ago, the Elephant Man called every Guyanese a thief. No apologies from him.
Now, Digicel is bringing him again to Guyana.
Are we such an insensitive nation that those who call us thieves, those who insult our nation, would be foisted on us?
